Snowboard Bindings – Different Classifications

There are different classifications of snowboard bindings. They come in different designs, different colours, different sizes and different weights. All of them have different purpose. Some are for high speed sliding. Some are for slow sliding. Some are for tough terrains. Some are used for soft snow sliding. Therefore, all of them have a different meaning and purpose. There are different boards for different terrains. There are five major types of terrains. Those are all mountain, freestyle, free ride, powder and split board. Powder boards are for softer snow. They are wider in shape and size. This helps the board to get more ground and therefore, divide the weight on a larger area. This way the weight does not go on a specific area. Soft snow can break when you are sliding on it. You can fall down in a hole or any other deep place if the snow breaks. Therefore, you have to be very careful
